While working on an engineering development program to design a safer military jet ejection seat system, SWITLIK invented a new way to make inflatable designs that yielded unique performance features.
The resulting self-inflatable structure could be pressurized while retaining its original shape. It not only provided the support needed for a high-g ejection; it provided the comfort needed for long-range missions. That got us thinking about another problem we could solve.
